Medical Secretary - 51.0716. The average cost of these programs is $8950.00 for tuition and $800.00 for books, fees and supplies. The average on time graduation rates for Dental Assistant is 73%, Medical Assistant is 75%, Pharmacy Technician is 71%, Medical Secretary is 78%. The average employment rate for Dental Assistant is 78%, Medical Assistant is 73%, Pharmacy Technician is 77% and Medical Secretary is 78%. The median loan debt that students borrow to go to school is $5975.00 per program. All programs are 900 clock hours in length. Figures are compiled and published for the 2009- 2010 academic year from various annual reports. These figures and information will be updated annually. |

| Word processing instruction is a part of every program. You will learn the skills that every modern dental/medical office demands. Being taught on our computers, you will gain confidence to handle whatever equipment you encounter in your career. | |
| CPT-ICD-9 Coding Training | |
| Today's health professional needs to know insurance coding and billing procedures. Cleveland Institute graduates are prepared in these areas, and possess the knowledge and confidence to work efficiently in a Medical/Dental office, hospital, or clinic. | |
| Accredited School | |
| Cleveland Institute is accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and approved by the Ohio State Approving Agency for Veterans Training (G.I. Bill) and the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools (#89-10-1241T, 1242T, 1243T). The school is still operated and owned by the founding administration and the officers have 70 years of experience training women and men for healthcare careers. Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Secretary and Dental Assistant graduates are eligible to sit for state or national registration/certification immediately upon graduation from the Cleveland Institute. | |
